What is computer and video game addiction?

When time spent on the computer, playing video games or cruising the Internet reaches a point that it harms a child's or adult's family and social relationships, or disrupts school or work life, that person may be caught in a cycle of addiction. Like other addictions, the computer or video game has replaced friends and family as the source of a person's emotional life. Increasingly, to feel good, the addicted person spends more time playing video games or searching the Internet. Time away from the computer or game causes moodiness or withdrawal.

When a person spends up to ten hours a day or more rearranging or sending files, playing games, surfing the net, visiting chat rooms, instant messaging, and reading emails, that easily can reach up to seventy to eighty hours a week on-line with the computer. Major social, school or work disruptions will result.

Assignment 3- Tools

1) I sketched the guitar using "pen tool" , "line segment tool, and "ellipse tool."

2) I created one puzzle using "pen tool" again, then duplicated to the number needed with Ctr+C then Ctr+V, and rotating and adding hemisphere on different sides each time.

following last step, I duplicated the puzzles, made thickness from 3pt to 1 pt, and changed the color from dark gray to a light gray.

3) Here, I added some smooth lines using "pen tool" and then "blend tool" and got the images shown bellow:

4) now, using"3d-Revolve tool", I created the spheres of musical notes, and also used "pen tool" to complete the rest of the shapes.

6) Now, I created the texts. First I wrote with the "text tool", then created them as "outlines", by selecting, right clicking, and choosing convert to outlines.

7) At the end, after adding the birthday message, on the other A4 page, and gathered all the things , I got the final image shown bellow:

Assignment 3-

Assignment 3- Birthday card

Idealization

As far as there is not such a tradition in celebrating birthday in a specific way in Iran, people do whatever makes them happy in someone's birthday; some throw a simple party, in which only close family members are involved, some may like to celebrate it more formally, so they invite relatives and friends to a garden or a big place. Youths, these days, like to have a rocking birthday party in which they can have a soft and heavy kinds of live music. So, I decided to choose rocking birthday card as my assignment, this time.

To develop my idea, I imagined a guitar resembling a human being, like those in cartoons, and holding his hands up with a rocking style. I selected this one since such parties are suitable for teenagers and it can be depicted with a cartoon-shape of a guitar.

My Sketch Work

Origination of Idea

This picture illustrates Damavand which is one of the highest peaks. I related the green and red scenery of its foot to Canon since it is one of the most spectacular places in Iran.

Remodelling of Canon Logo

Hi

In this post I will demonstrate how I created my logo stage by stage.

1) First of all I created a circle using "Ellipse Tool". Then I created another "Layer" and started tracing greenery part by "Pen Tool" and "Convert Anchor Point Tool". then I filled in the outline with Gradient Green Color.

2) Next, I added another layer and drew a mountain and snow using "Pen Tool" once more.
then I painted the foot of the mountain with "Paintbrush Tool" changing its type into "Charcoal"
and size of 10pt.

3) In following step, I drew a big circle using "Ellipse Tool", and holding "Ctr+C+F", I duplicated another circle with same size; then I changed the second circle's size a bit larger than the first one by right clicking and choosing "Scale" from "Transform" menu. Further, I applied "Pathfinder Tool of Exclude".

4) Same as the last part, I followed the same rules to create a smaller circular frame but the coloring part, I changed the place of "Black and White" in Gradient coloring.

5) Then I overlapped the smaller frame onto the bigger one like bellow:

6) I added some shapes as for the lens to make it more realistic. to make make it more transparent I changed their opacity to 77% and their Blending Mode into "Overly".

7) Finally, I added some text using "Type on path Tool" to mount on the circular shape. And Done!!!!
